The Thursday Post: Timing
Today was my scheduled day off of work. As my wife was up this morning before I was (more like was still awake from the night before, playing with antler-tips she got for possible jewelry pieces), I got to sleep-ion to try to get over this cold once and for all.
The cold has gone into the "Trying To Go Into the Chest" phase, which is always the most fun (insert sarcasm here)! I've been continuing doing the Kale,Lemon, Carrot & Ginger juicing to ramp up the natural defenses, along with keeping up with the water. I also have been sleeping on an incline to keep mucus from pooling in the lungs.
I was able to get Strength Builder done today. I was thinking of doing Strength Builder & Double Black Diamond today to catch up. However, with still getting over the cold and wanting to have enough for Kids Judo & Karate this evening, it was all about Timing and knowing when to push harder (ergo; working smarter). Everyone's timing is different, so its important to make it your own, just like everything else in DDP Yoga. So long as you keep moving forward and Own This Day (whatever you have for today), you will know which step you are ready to take tomorrow to get to your goal!
As for the numbers for today:
Total Workout Time: 40:28
Average Heart Rate: 129bpm
Maximum Heart Rate: 152bpm
Time in the Zone: 37:20
Tomorrow, like it or not, is going to be Double Black Diamond. So, its time to hunker down and be ready for tomorrow to.....
